Help: The app is not responding and I can't quit!

You might be seeing a bug that causes the app to crash on Mac computers with M1/M2 chips.

Clicking on the app doesn't have any effect: It won't open

This is a problem with Rosetta that unfortunately is beyond our control. We're actively investigating workarounds and will update the Changelog when we have a solution.

Open the Activity Monitor program on your Mac
In the top right search bar, search for "Curiosity" - there should be several processes (screenshot)
Mark all the Curiosity processes and click "Quit" in the top menu
In the popup menu, click "Force quit" and confirm
