Curiosity as a Clipboard manager (enable, disable, use)

Why use Curiosity as a clipboard manager?

Curiosity works as a clipboard manager to keep track of items that you have copied on your computer.

Connecting your clipboard to Curiosity lets you:
Save things you copied for later (text, links, images)
Search your clipboard
Quickly copy-paste from your clipboard history with the Command bar

How to connect your clipboard

💡 The clipboard manager is supported on Mac and Windows, but not on all Linux distributions.

To search your clipboard with Curiosity, you need to enable it under Preferences:
On the left bar, click the cog (⚙️) icon to open Preferences
In the left sidebar for Preferences, click Clipboard
Use the dropdown to select Enabled
(optional) Choose how long your clipboard entries are saved using the dropdown

Curiosity will start saving your clipboard entries.

Notes

You can choose for how long the entries should be saved from the cog (⚙️) icon next to Clipboard on the left bar of the app.
Curiosity only starts saving your clipboard entries when you connect it, so it may be empty when you first view it.
Curiosity for clipboard currently supports text, links, and images (in beta).
