Why does Curiosity require an account?

Curiosity requires your personal information (name, email) for you to be able to:

Verify the account really belongs to you
Manage account settings (license, plans, payments via Stripe)
Recover your account in case you lose your password
Handle account related questions through our support
Delete your account in case you request it


Payments are handled securely by Stripe. Curiosity never sees or stores your credit card details.
Logs are stored to improve the app, and erased automatically after some time. You can share them with us in case you hit any issues. Learn more about logs here.
