What is scheduling for indexing and why does it matter?

When you install Curiosity and connect sources, the app does two things:
It temporarily downloads your data from cloud sources (e.g. Gmail)
It **indexes** your data to make it searchable

Indexing needs a lot of CPU (computing power), so you might experience your computer slowing down or hear the fan start. To avoid that during working hours, you can schedule what times the the app should index your data.

How to schedule indexing?

To schedule indexing:
In the left bar, click on the cog (⚙️) icon to open Preferences
Scroll down to the section File indexing
On the green tiles indicating days and times, click or drag with the mouse to change the color

🟩 the app will index at this time
⬜ the app will pause indexing at this time
