Why connect Slack to Curiosity?


Connecting Slack to Curiosity lets you:

  • Search Slack messages, emails and files in one place
  • Search inside attachments in Slack (Slack search doesn't do that)
  • Find contacts from Slack in your contacts


How to connect Slack


To connect Slack to Curiosity:

  1. In the left bar, hover over Apps and click the + (Connect more apps)
  2. Find Slack in the list and click Connect
  3. In the browser window that opens, select the Slack Workspace you want to connect from the dropdown at the top right of the browser
  4. Sign in to your Slack account
  5. Click Allow


Your Slack workspace will appear under Apps and you can search messages and attachments.


Select the correct Slack Workspace from the Dropdown


Notes


  • You can connect as many Slack Workspaces as you like.
  • If you're not seeing the Workspace you want to connect, check you're using the same email address you use in that Slack Workspace.
