What's the difference between "Twitter" and "Twitter Search" in Curiosity?



The Curiosity app offers two ways of searching Twitter:
Connecting Twitter lets you search your Twitter timeline using the Curiosity search engine
Connecting Twitter search lets you use Twitter's public search engine from the Curiosity Command Bar

You can use either option or both at the same time.

Option 1: How to connect Twitter



This is option (1) to search Twitter using the Curiosity search engine.

To connect Twitter to Curiosity:
In the left bar, hover over Apps and click on the + (Connect more apps)
In the list of apps, find Twitter and click Connect (not Twitter search !)
Sign into your Twitter account
Authorize Curiosity by clicking Accept

Twitter will appear as an app and you can search tweets from your timeline, and people you follow.

Option 2: How to activate Twitter Search



This is option (2) to use the Twitter public search from the Curiosity Command Bar.

To activate Twitter Search in Curiosity:
In the left bar, hover over Apps and click on the + (Connect more apps)
In the list of apps, find Twitter Search and click Connect (not Twitter !)

Twitter will be added as a third-party search engine (like Google or Wikipedia).
